Mactan, Cebu - Three Kenyans, who have been in the Philipppines since July last year, ruled the Vaseline Men XTERRA Trail Run in Liloan, Cebu last Saturday morning.
Abraham Misos and Douglas Mbui finished one and two in the 21 Kilometer Run for Men. Josphat Kiptanui ruled the 10 Kilometer Run for Men.
Misos said he has won so many foot races in the country he has already lost count how many. But he said this is his first off-road foot race in the Philippines.
Hey well the pictures say it most.
My race was good, ran well over the varying terrain! I was racing an other guy for the first half or so. And I decided to “shadow” him about 5m behind.
It was supposed to be just a 5K run, which turned into an almost 2 hour 10K run-walk-photo-op at last Sunday’s XTERRA Vaseline Men Pang Rave Run held over at the wonderful and breezy trails of Timberland Heights.
With the only intention of having fun, I used my trail hydration pack and armed with my iPhone covered with the sturdy Otterbox – I was raring to have pure fun on the trails./p>
